Jim Peterson is the Head of Consumer Product and Marketing at TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank. In this role, he is responsible for the performance of TD's retail product portfolio, product innovation, and delivery, as well as TD's Marketing department and Card Partnerships business.

Most recently, Jim was the Head of Retail Products at TD Bank. Under Jim's leadership, TD Bank's retail products have delivered financial results outpacing the industry, and received numerous industry accolades.

Prior to TD, Jim gained significant experience, domestic and international, in Credit Card and Consumer lending businesses during his ten-year career at JP Morgan. Jim was President of Mass Affluent Cards at JP Morgan Chase, which is Chase's largest segment and card business. He served as President of the Co-Brand Credit Cards for over five years, leading the largest Co-Brand credit card portfolio in the United States which included partnerships with United, Southwest Airlines, Marriott and Amazon.

Prior to joining JP Morgan Chase, Jim worked in consumer marketing for 15 years at Johnson & Johnson and Proctor & Gamble. Jim has built and developed businesses and teams throughout his career, skills which are critical to support the vision and growth objectives for our Retail Banking Business.

Jim proudly served in the Army for 5 years and graduated from West Point and Carnegie Mellon University. 

Jim resides in South Jersey with his wife Janet and four children: Andrew, Margret, Louise, and Henry
